Here are a few words about my professional journey over the last 18 years as a clinical psychologist in various university hospital departments of adult and perinatal psychotherapy and psychiatry in France 🥰

I initially specialized in supporting adults experiencing emotional difficulties following challenging life events that negatively and painfully impacted their relationships with others, as well as their romantic and family lives 🌟

Supporting a pregnant woman who experienced major obstetric trauma during psychotherapy led me to further training and subsequently specialize in supporting men, women, and couples facing difficulties during the perinatal period, such as: female and male fertility issues, assisted reproductive technology (ART), difficult pregnancies and deliveries, perinatal bereavement, as well as parenting challenges within blended families or co-parenting arrangements, etc. 🌺

For 10 years I was the lead psychologist for the mother-baby unit at the University Hospital of Lille, which was a particularly enriching and fulfilling experience both professionally and personally.

Throughout these years, I have also been involved in mentoring and teaching students, as well as healthcare and legal professionals, on various issues related to relationships, parenthood, and the perinatal period. I have also participated in various research projects and written articles. 📔

With all this solid experience and wonderful memories of all the men, women and babies I have been able to support, it is with great joy that I joined the Perinatal & Family Centre team in 2023.

I can currently offer you personalized and caring support, with gentleness and containment during the complicated times you will go through when you contact me, but also with efficiency so that you can feel better with yourself and your loved ones.

My professional journey led me to work in a center for asylum seekers 🌍, where I had the chance to support people from very diverse cultures ✨ on a daily basis, who have often gone through life paths marked by exile, precariousness and trauma.

This profoundly human and enriching experience has allowed me to develop a respectful, open and sensitive listening posture to the uniqueness of each individual 💗, and motivates me today to continue to support people who come from different cultures and life contexts 🌱.

I have also had the opportunity to support many families 👨‍👩‍👧, pregnant women 🤰 and couples facing challenges related to parenthood or perinatal 👶.

These follow-ups have allowed me to refine my understanding of the psychological and emotional issues specific to these periods of transition, sometimes filled with vulnerability 😌, but also with great resources 🌟.

These experiences have allowed me to develop a therapeutic approach centered on the quality of the relationship 🤝, the alliance of trust 💫, and welcoming the other in what they are experiencing, without judgment 🕊️.

👋 I am Melissa Roy, a psychologist and psychotherapist in training, and I see children 👶, adolescents 🧑‍🎓, families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and adults 👩‍🦰 for consultations.

At the end of my university studies 🎓, I chose to specialize in the psychoanalytic approach. During my studies, I experienced that this approach provides support and assistance in the overall development of children and adolescents.

I support patients in discovering themselves 🔍, understanding themselves 🤝 and exploring their inner world 🌱. In consultation, the child is supported through words 🗣️, play 🎲, drawing 🎨 and other methods to express their concerns, conflicts and needs.

My professional career began in the care of children and adolescents in institutional settings 🏫, hospitals 🏥 and prisons related to delinquency. I worked in close contact with families and professionals involved in the individual's care.

🧩 Private practice was then added to my career, allowing me to broaden my scope of care, particularly in the field of parenthood 👩‍👧.

I trained in the psychotraumatology approach 🧠. This approach considers life events with traumatic potential and their relationship to mental health disorders. One of the therapeutic goals is to provide patients with an understanding of the mechanisms related to trauma, as well as stabilization and resources 🛠️. It's an approach I'm passionate about ❤️ and committed to integrating into my practice.

📅 At the beginning of 2025, I joined the Psy & Co team in Nyon, where I wish to provide a therapeutic and listening space 🛋️ to support you in your questions and needs.

I practice in French and my services are covered by basic health insurance 🩺. The follow-up will be tailored to your needs and provided with care 🌸.

🌟 I'm Muriel Heulin, and I'm here to support you on your incredible life journey and bring you mental, emotional, and physical well-being! 🌟

Let me tell you about my journey. At the age of 14, I realized I wanted to be a psychologist, and this calling has always been central to my life. Then, at 16, I discovered perinatal care, and it was a real turning point for me 🌺. It was at that moment that the idea of creating a welcoming and supportive space to help couples was born.

For over 18 years, I have practiced as a psychologist and psychotherapist, for whom therapy is first and foremost an encounter of being. I support couples, men, and women with a compassionate and gentle approach, whether they are considering parenthood, navigating assisted reproductive technology (ART), experiencing pregnancy and childbirth, or coping with perinatal trauma. Together, we create a personalized path for each individual.

In 2009, I had the opportunity to realize my dream by founding the Geneva Perinatal & Family Centre, where I practice my profession. In 2016, I expanded this adventure by creating the Lausanne Perinatal & Family Centre, where I also practice as a FSP-certified psychologist-psychotherapist, and even as a supervisor 🌟.

Over the years, I have refined my approach by helping couples and women undergoing fertility treatment, while simultaneously developing an incredible therapy called Psychosomatic Desensitization (PSD), to overcome difficult moments and traumas in the perinatal period (traumatic birth, miscarriages, perinatal bereavement, termination of pregnancy for medical reasons…) 🌈

In 2023, my husband and I founded Psy & Co, a team of next-generation psychologists, psychotherapists, and coaches primarily focused on the individual. We also launched the Be Formation training school to train future perinatal experts 💪. I train the next generation of psychologists. I also write articles to share my knowledge with a wider audience 📚.

To top it all off, I have acquired skills in alternative fields which are also additional tools to support you such as Reiki, magnetism, shamanism and geobiology 🥰.
